2017 NAWCC ELECTION RESULTS

These are the results of the 2017 NAWCC Election for four Directors, one Nominating and Elections Committee member and the Bylaws Amendment as certified by the independent election firm, Election America, Inc., in letter dated April 3, 2017.

All acceptable official ballots that were received no later than midnight April 1, 2017 were counted.

* There were 2,121 ballots counted (16% of membership)

* 1797 were by electronic voting.

* 324 were by paper ballots.

The results of the election are as follows:

DIRECTOR:

Tim Orr (CO) – 1037

Chris Miller (MO) – 1023

John Cote (IN) – 976

Philip Morris (AL) – 944

Robert Burton (KY) -915

Leroy Baker (WI) – 888

Robert Gary (CA) – 867

Micah Tasker (NH) - 821

The top four were elected to the NAWCC Board of Directors to serve term 2017 – 2021.

NOMINATING AND ELECTIONS COMMITTEE:

Jim Coulson (TN) – 1129

George Goolsby (TX) - 865

Jim Coulson was elected to serve on the NEC for term 2017-2021.

APPOINTED DIRECTORS

According to Bylaws Article IV Section 7 (c), the NEC will present a nominee list for appointed Directors positions to the outgoing Board within fifteen days after the close of the election.  The two candidates will be confirmed on an individual basis, which requires a majority vote of the full Board by secret ballot, at the Board’s April 19th meeting, for term 2017-2021.
